Teaching Tarot

the way it is meant to be understood

The Tarot has been part of my life for nearly thirty years.

In that time, I’ve come to understand that reading the Tarot is not about a list of card meanings to memorise; it’s a language. A beautifully structured, visually symbolic language built on a framework of numbers, suits, symbols and images. A language that speaks to the mess, magic and wonder of our daily life.

I founded Tuatha Tarot Academy to make that language easier to learn.

So often I speak to people who feel stuck trying to learn the Tarot, drowning in keywords or chasing shortcuts or card definitions that never quite make sense.

My aim is to guide you down clear pathways through the numbers, colours, suits and symbols, so you can understand the framework within the cards, and read them naturally, in your own way and with your own voice.

What I offer is simple:

  • One-to-one tarot lessons over Zoom. We start with a four-week foundation, then you choose the next steps as you grow.

  • Small group tarot courses. A chance to share the journey with others, ask questions, and hear how different voices meet the same card.

  • Tarot Readings in Skibbereen. Most Wednesday’s and Saturdays you will find me on our comfy couch at The Woodsman’s Realm with a cup of tea.

  • Tea & Tarot in the Realm. A monthly study group for lively discussions on the Tarot with other lovely, like minded folk.
